I decided a few weeks ago that I wanted to use this adorable bear fabric from to make myself a set of bags to carry all my stuff to retreats! The fabrics and webbing are from the lines Teddy and the Bears, plus some Starry thrown in for lining and some bindings. The bags made their debut at our local guild retreat a few weeks ago!

The bags are all By Annie patterns - two large-size Two Big Totes (blue and gray), small-size Tools of the Trade (magenta), Double Zip Gear bag (yellow on the left), Running with Scissors (yellow on the right), Quick Zip Case (magenta), medium-size Clam Up (magenta), and a modified Piecekeeper.

I was so excited to get a fat quarter bundle of Tula's new True Colors and Full Moon Forest II, I had to use it right away! Pattern is Chic Sisters by Sew Kind of Wonderful and even though the pinwheels don't stand out, I'm loving this quilt!

I went to a 4-day retreat at Quilting Mayhem last month and learned how to improv paper piece from ! For my non-quilter friends, that means I took a strip of paper and drew lines/squares/triangles then sewed on the lines to make a row. Every bit of this quilt is unique to me and it is WAY out of my comfort zone! I'm excited to have this top done and can't wait to get it quilted!! Thanks for another amazing class!
