The Rooftop Rodeo is a signature event of the Town of Estes Park and will take place on July 6 - 11, 2026. Sanctioned by the PRCA and WPRA, the Rooftop Rodeo draws the top professional Rodeo athletes in the nation for 6 days of top-notch competition.

✨ The future is bright in Estes Park!

The 2026 Rooftop Royalty Clinic was filled with outstanding young people who are passionate about preserving the western way of life in the Estes Valley. We are inspired by the dedication, hard work, and commitment these young cowgirls and cowboys demonstrate as they pursue the opportunity to represent the Rooftop Rodeo and our community.

A special thank you goes out to the families who support these young leaders every step of the way. Your encouragement and commitment help make this program possible.

We can’t wait for the 2026 Rooftop Royalty Competition on June 27–28 at the Events Complex! We are excited to watch these talented young people showcase the confidence, leadership, horsemanship, and character that will help them succeed in everything they pursue.

The Rooftop Rodeo was thrilled to welcome breakaway roping for the first time in 2025, and we’re excited to see it return in 2026! Congratulations again to Haiden Thompson, who made history by capturing the inaugural Rooftop Rodeo Breakaway Roping Championship with a 2.4 second run.

The WPRA Barrel Race was on fire at the 2025 Rooftop Rodeo! 🔥🐎

When the dust settled, 18-time Wrangler NFR Qualifier Lisa Lockhart claimed the championship after stopping the clock at an impressive 16.30 seconds on the final night of competition. Out of a stacked field of 197 contestants, Lisa rose to the top in one of the most competitive and fan-favorite events of the week!

The classic event of rodeo at the 2025 Rooftop Rodeo did not disappoint! 🤠

3-time World Champion, Ryder Wright, put together an outstanding ride, scoring 87 points aboard Promiscuous Girl of Cervi Brothers Rodeo taking the 2025 Rooftop Rodeo Saddle Bronc Riding Championship.

The Rooftop Rodeo honors the service and sacrifice of all who have served and continue to serve our country this Armed Forces Day. 🇺🇸

Today, we proudly recognize the brave men and women of our Armed Forces whose courage and dedication protect the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are forever grateful to those who stand watch over this great nation.

The Rooftop Rodeo will partner with American Legion Post 119 to honor our Military during the Thursday, July 9th rodeo performance sponsored by Wrangler. We hope to see you there!
