Just look at this quaint little Badger 🦡

When I saw The Sourceress Vintage Furniture post this vintage find, I knew I could make a miniature dweller to complete this piece. So, I felted this little dreamer, gazing out of his window and fashioned him a shawl to create a cozy vibe.

A lot has been going on behind the scenes here…

I was offered a new full time position with Essex Community Development Corporation and I wrapped up the pncbank and Community College of Baltimore County small business cohort.

All I have to say is don’t turn your nose up on Essex…it is becoming full of vibrant and kind people that are busting their tails to make their community stronger. I love living here. There is a waterfront environment that is unlike any other. I draw from its nature and wildlife every day.

But will my new full time position interfere with Alison Maxwell ✨Fiber Artist ? Somewhat. I will have to dedicate my weekends to stabbing away and limit my baking obsession. There will always be a give and take in life but I could not abandon my felted world. I gained some valuable insight with the small business cohort and it helped me close the door on Felt Up Girl…but not before I got the president of CCBC to say Felt Up Girl out loud to a group of people 😉(still makes me giggle a bit)

So, hang in there baby…we’re in for a wild year.

The wooly bears can finally let the cat out of the bag!

If you listen closely, you can hear them sing out, “We’ve got a new name!”

✨Felt Up Girl has changed names to, Wool & Bramble✨

This has been thought on for a very long time and although literally everyone loved the original name, it was time… Wool & Bramble is more in line with my brand and who I am now…slightly more mature and stepping into that whimsical and magical way.

My website has been updated and soon will my social media names… and I will release my new logo this week too!!

Thank you for coming along on this wild journey and I hope you love the new name as much as I do!❤️

I know it’s not just me… I have so many ideas that I want to work on and then it becomes a lot of “ideas” are started and not finished.

My brain works faster than my hands or my schedule will allow. Frustrating beyond words.
