This just in! We have just gotten in some new items that have mushrooms, gnomes, containers, and all your doggie needs. Stop on in to come paint something new.
Hours: Wednesday-Friday: 5pm-8pm
Sarurday: 11am-5pm

06/27/2025

Starting tomorrow 6/28/25 we will be adding Saturdays back into our schedule. The hours will be 11am to 5pm. We will be closed Wednesday 7/2/25.

09/06/2024

We will be reopening with limited hours on Wednesday 9/11/24!
For those who have been to the studio in the past you will remember my daughter Miranda. She will have the studio open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 5pm till 8pm. You will have to be cleaned up and ready to leave at 8pm.

If anyone has something they were working on or completed, it is still there. You can plan on coming in to pick it up or finish it.

I’m also looking for someone that would be interested in working on Saturdays and maybe an evening for me in trade. What I mean is you will help customers while you are there but also be able to work on your own art. Message me if this may interest you and we can see if we can work out the details.

Well I did it, I have a collection of Stoneware for you to paint without knowing how to use a pottery wheel. These pieces are molded and not hand thrown.

What is Stoneware you ask? Well it is a high fire clay that uses high fire glazes. It is oven, microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. It has much more durability than the paint your own pottery pieces. Plus the glazes are runny and you can get some true traditional pottery colors.

The cost of the mugs range from $20-$28 finished but you get to paint them the colors you want. In the back are some casserole dishes, teapot, pie plate and a dog bowl. There prices vary.

They are ready to go. I don't have huge quantities so come on out this weekend when it's raining and check them out.

I want honest opinions. I'm considering adding stoneware to the studio options. What is that? Stoneware it's molded or handmade pieces that is fired to 2232 deg. That means a true pottery piece. But you need to use high fire glazes. So, you can get some really neat runny glazes but you will never know what you will get. There is no control unless you only use one color. The pictures are the first set I would add and if it goes well I will add more. These would be the total prices plus tax. Mug $20, Bowl $21, 9 1/4 plate $24, 12 1/2 Plate $32. This would be the total price. It would give you the option of having traditional pottery without having to know how to throw on a wheel. I really ask that you be honest on the price, yes I'd pay that or no that is to high. I don't want to invest if people think that is to much. That is where I would have to be. I think my regulars know this is rock bottom. There are no paint your own pottery places that offer this!

So first off I'm at the Timonium Arts and Crafts show. So if you want to see my personal pottery please stop by. I will be there in the fall also but this will be my last year at the big shows. They keep raising prices and I am losing money. I've been talking to vendors and next year will probably be home and gardens with no arts and crafts. I have a couple post that will come for my future ideas.
