Give your favorite book a whole new life. Join Cover to Cover Binding for a hands-on, two-night workshop where you’ll learn to rebind your own book using custom materials and foils.

Calling artists across North County San Diego!

The California Center for the Arts, Escondido Foundation, in conjunction with Pako Pablos Studios, is now accepting submissions for our Día de Mu***os Community Pop-Up Gallery.

Artists ages 13+ are invited to submit work honoring the spirit and creativity of Día de Mu***os. All mediums are welcome, and artists may submit up to three works for consideration. Selected artwork will be displayed during our Día de Mu***os celebration on November 1.

Submissions are free and open through October 16.

Save the date! Día de Mu***os returns to the California Center for the Arts, Escondido on Sunday, November 1 from 4–9 PM.

Join us for a FREE community celebration honoring the traditions of Día de Mu***os through art, culture, and remembrance.

Enjoy altars, Catrinas, live entertainment, local vendors, food trucks, and more. Community altars are available on a first come, first served basis, with materials provided.

We look forward to celebrating with our community once again!

Escondido Roots is now part of Escondido’s growing public art landscape.

Created by muralists Sasha Primo and Gloria Favela Rocha in collaboration with local youth groups and urban creators, the mural celebrates Escondido’s agricultural heritage, local stories, and continued growth.

We’re proud to have played a part in bringing this new work to our community through the Escondido Community Foundation’s ArtSpeaks initiative.

The unveiling of Escondido Roots public mural is happening this Saturday, August 29.

Created by artists Sasha Primo and Gloria Favela Rocha in collaboration with local youth groups and urban creators, the project is part of ECF’s ArtSpeaks initiative, which brings community-centered public art to public spaces throughout Escondido.

The unveiling is also featured among upcoming events happening across San Diego County. Take a look at the roundup, then mark your calendar to experience the mural in person.
