Peace Family Light Show

Hi,
It’s been a long time, so we wanted to provide an update with what’s going on with the Peace family.

In case you didn’t know, our family has enjoyed volunteering for the light show at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido since 2019. It has brought our family a lot of joy during the holidays to do it. We’ve had an absolute blast collaborating these past few years with others as passionate as we are in trying to bring magical and immersive lighting experiences to Escondido.

But with time, always comes change - and our family is moving out of state, and will no longer be involved with the Arts Center moving forward.

We love everyone we worked with, and love the Escondido community very much. We are sad to leave, but excited for the adventures ahead.

We hope to have updates with where the Peace Family Light Show is moving in the future.

A huge thank you to everyone that offered to donate to replace stolen items. We had what we needed to replace the electronics, but I was pretty demoralized and lacking motivation after that.

After some encouragement, I spent the day today re-setting up Hogwarts Castle, and I’m glad I did, because we’ve been having an awesome turn out to enjoy the mini-Harry Potter light show.

I’m very sorry to report that someone stole the electronics behind Hogwarts Castle, and the light show there is not running. I am unsure if it will be back on this season. I will update when we know more.
