Hi Homeschooling friends,

I've created a special sketchbook designed just for kids- a low prep, creative activity to enrich homeschool days and meet art requirement. It is a book designed with pocket folders, a special fabric pouch for drawing tools and a QR code that will take you directly to a link with specific page by page activities. If you are interested or have any questions, please message me!

Today's sketch prompt is: Hephaestus, god of fire, volcanoes and blacksmithing.

January 14th: Draw the map or flag of Antigua and Barbuda, the 14th smallest country in the world? The first 24 days of January are dedicated to Cartography, the study of maps. We are beginning with the smallest country and working our way up. Challenge yourself to recreate all of the details of this tiny country using one line only. How does that line have to change in order to show elevation changes, roadways, waterways, capital cities, etc. Another way to celebrate geography, visually, is to observe the flag that was created to symbolize the country.
