BPI completed another Nutcracker season with performances at the Warner Theatre in LEBC’s production. Some of the dancers posed backstage with little homemade ornaments made in their image! 🎄💖☺️

Congrats to BPI dancer Myah Frase on her first Sugar Plum gig! She will perform with the Johnstown Concert Ballet on December 5th & 6th. BPI supports its dancers taking on guesting jobs when they can be coordinated with their Erie schedule. Considering they potentially earn triple what they make the rest of the season, it’s important to support these opportunities for them. Go Myah! 🧚‍♀️💜🩰

A little late for world ballet day but we had an awesome time sharing ballet with Union City Elementary School today! The 4th graders were so enthusiastic and polite! About a month from now they will be bused to the Warner Theater to see Lake Erie Ballet Company’s production of Erie’s Nutcracker Reimagined. We can’t wait! 👏🏼👍🏼🤩🎄🥜🩰

Ballet Presque Isle is happy to announce the addition of Kyla Work to our company! Kyla joins us this season as an apprentice. We are excited to add her talents to BPI!
Kyla began her training at the age of 15 with Sovereign Ballet in Erie, Pennsylvania under the instruction of Christina Maria Adelhardt and Carrie Frase. She additionally trained with Orlando Dance Conservatory in Orlando, Florida under the direction of Aretuza Garner. Kyla attended summer intensive programs at Miami City Ballet, Magnum Opus Ballet, and Grand Rapids Ballet. In 2024-2025 she completed a trainee program with Chevalier Ballet in New York City.
Kyla has performed corps, soloist and principal roles in classic productions such as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Giselle, Paquita and Swan Lake. Her repertoire also includes participation in a televised Nutcracker performance and a unique community immersion dance experience. Kyla is looking forward to her first season with BPI.
