We're excited to share that our own Karen Lill, MA, LPC, ATR, ACS, is teaming up with Destiny Davis, LPC, CRC, to present a live, hands-on workshop exploring the relationships chronic illness reshapes and a practical way to name what you need inside them.

Cost: $27 or pay-what-you-can (discount codes available on the registration page)

What will be covered in the class:

Why Art Instead of Talking: Explore what art therapy actually is and why creativity reaches things that talking around them doesn't. No ability or disability required, and no artistic skill needed.

Building Your Relationship Map: Follow Karen through a five-step exercise, live and on screen. Each step will be provided with time to create, or time to sit with your thoughts if art really isn't your thing.

What Does Support Look Like?: Answer it in specific language instead of general language. This is usually where the thing you've been circling for months finally lands.

Taking It With You: Walk away with a page you made and can make again. Bodies change, relationships change, and this is a twenty-minute exercise you can return to any time something feels off and you can't name it.

Erie is such a vibrant, beautiful city, filled with talented people making incredible things every day. At Radius, we’ve always believed that innovation and creativity go hand in hand, and our new downtown space gives us the opportunity to celebrate even more of what makes this community so special.

That’s why we’re excited to partner with Erie Arts & Culture to curate our walls with artwork created by the people of Erie.

We’re putting out an open call for artwork from artists of all experience levels. Whether you’re an established artist, an emerging creative, or someone who doesn’t even think of yourself as an artist but loves to create, we want to see your work. If you’ve got a piece sitting in your home or studio waiting for the right place, this could be it.

Rather than filling our walls with artwork from somewhere else, we want this space to reflect the city we’re proud to call home. Every day, entrepreneurs, creatives, professionals, and community members walk through Radius, and we want them to experience the talent, perspective, and creativity that exists right here in Erie.

Selected pieces will be purchased for permanent display throughout the space, giving local artists the opportunity to become part of a place where our community gathers, collaborates, and grows.

If you’d like your work to be considered, submit it through the artwork submission form on our website. Link in below!

radiusco.work/art-open-call

Submissions are open now through August 31. We can’t wait to see what our community has been creating. 🎨

1 submission per person. Up to 3 pieces per submission.

Submit your work between August 1 - August 31. Submissions will be evaluated between September 1 - September 8. If selected, you’ll need to drop off your wall-ready piece by Friday, September 18.
