Following public health orders from Weld and Boulder Counties, the Erie Parks & Recreation Department will be moving into Level Red, Safer at Home. Thanks to the stringent health and safety protocols already in place at our facilities, we will continue to operate similarly to how we have been with a few modifications indicated below:

The Erie Community Center will remain open and operate at 10% capacity or 10 people max per room, whichever is less. Access to the Center requires pre-registration for a timeslot within a specific zone. Use your Amilia account online to pre-register for a specific workout time, fitness class, lap swim, lazy river, or court usage.
Please note, any existing timeslot reservations will be honored and you will be granted access to the Community Center for your designated time.
We will continue to offer recreation programs and fitness classes at a reduced capacity.

Town owned park amenities including trails, disc golf, playgrounds, and the skate park remain open at a capacity of 10 people. We encourage you to get outside and play safely by avoiding gatherings of more than 10 people and of more than two households. Park shelters remain open on a first-come, first-served basis. Shelter rentals will not be accepted until January 2 for the spring rental season (March-May).

We are continuing to make every effort to keep our facilities safe. This includes mask orders for staff and visitors, frequent sanitization of high touch surfaces, nightly fogging with a hospital-grade disinfectant, upgraded air filtration, and a reduced capacity in facilities.
The health and safety of our staff and community is our highest priority. This is a dynamic situation in which we will continue to monitor closely and respond appropriately as new information is available. If you have questions regarding our health and safety measures, contact us at 303.926.2550 or email [email protected].
Please visit our website for current facility operations. In addition, we encourage you to follow us on social media for real-time updates and announcements.
Most importantly, stay well and know we look forward to resuming to normal operations!
