Congratulations to the Nashville Symphony! We are beyond thrilled that the musicians, staff and the Nashville community have a beautiful season to look forward to. Bravo!

The past week has been tremendously difficult for our musicians and staff. The uncertainty was real, but we were overwhelmed by the support from our community and beyond.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. The show must go on, and we can't wait to make music for you again soon. 💙

The Peninsula Music Festival stands with our friends at the Nashville Symphony. Our hearts are with the extraordinary musicians and staff, some of whom we are lucky enough to have with us in the summer; and with the community who has supported this remarkable orchestra for 80 years.

We are sending strength and support to everyone who is working toward the Nashville Symphony’s return to the stage.

From one orchestra family to another: we’re with you and ready to help.

For 80 years, audiences across Middle Tennessee have supported the Nashville Symphony in our mission to inspire and engage our community with the power of orchestral music.

Our story doesn't end here.

Our Board of Directors recently made the difficult decision to suspend the 2026-27 season effective October 18 to address financial challenges and establish a solid foundation for the future. You can read our full statement on our website. (The Symphony Ball and Symphony Fashion Show will still take place as planned, along with weddings, hall rentals, and several other musical performances.)

Thank you for the outpouring of goodwill and generosity you have offered in this moment. While after October 17 it will be some time before our orchestra returns to the stage, we are grateful for our community's enduring support, and we remain confident that the Nashville Symphony's future will be brighter than ever.

Happy October! Just a reminder that although our physical office in Ephraim is closed for the season, we are still in Door County working virtually every Monday thru Thursday, 12:00 pm-4:00 pm. All, the office is closed today (Monday, August 24 and tomorrow, August 25) so we can regroup after this beautiful season. In the meantime, please enjoy this incredible and authentic photo taken on the night of our final performance of the season, when we performed Mahler 3. We will conclude our 74th season with one of the most ambitious performances in our history as Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung takes the stage. She joins the festival orchestra, the Apollo Women’s Chorus, and the Appleton Boychoir for Gustav Mahler’s monumental Symphony No. 3 on Saturday, August 22, at 7:30 PM at Door County Auditorium in Fish Creek.
