On this day two years ago, many lives were changed.
Our family lost 2 businesses, The She Shed and All About Art, and a building we had poured our blood, sweat, and tears into. Coffee Corner Enterprise, Alabama lost their beautiful coffee shop that they had worked so hard to create. In just one short year, they made an incredible impact on our community. Serendipity by Kei's beautiful and unique boutique was damaged by smoke and water and was unable to open again. Our neighbors lost a beautiful apartment that they loved so much and had also poured their heart and soul into. My heart still breaks for everyone who lost something that day.
Thankfully, Coffee Corner Enterprise, Alabama was able to reopen a year later in the location where All About Art began and where Serendipity by Kei was previously. I am so proud of what they have created there. They have curated a gathering place that brings joy to so many. We are so grateful for them.
We are thankful that the City of Enterprise, Ala. has worked with us to create a green space that can be enjoyed for the time being until we can take our next steps.
It has always been our first priority to serve our community. To be a positive impact. To bring joy to our patrons, family, and friends.
Enterprise is our home and somewhere we have and will continue to invest in. With time behind us, it is easy to see why we created AAA and worked so hard. And it is easy to see what we miss the most.
We miss interacting with our community everyday. We miss our team of talented folks that helped make AAA an incredible experience for our patrons. We miss our beautiful Downtown Enterprise neighbors and all of their love and collaboration. We miss the relationships we had built over 13 years. We miss the smiles on kids faces who came with families to create something for themselves or a gift. We miss the proposals (there were two) and weddings (there were two). We miss the time spent with you, helping you learn and grow as an artist. We miss you!
You made our business special. You are the reason we were able to recover from the downturn of Covid and come out stronger than ever. You made that building special and unique! I can never thank you enough for all you have done to love and support our family. You made us great!
As we look to the future, which is uncertain, one thing I am sure of is that through all of this, God has provided and will continue to guide our family as we navigate the next steps in this process. I know that no matter what we face, God is bigger.
Thank you all for your continued love and support.
