2026 GrassRoots Karting Series points breakdown

1. Final points total is based on best 5 of 6 races.
2. You can use 1 substitute driver. Sub must enter class using the name of the driver they are substituting.
3. Substitute driver counts towards series end bonus points.
4. If a driver competes in all 6 races he/she will receive a 25 point bonus.
5. A driver must run 4 of 6 races to receive series end trophies and prizes.
6. Top 3 in each class that maintains a 5 kart average will receive series end prizes.
7. If a class doesn’t maintain the 5 kart average the top 3 will receive series end trophies but not prizes.
8. If you get DQed for motor violations or tire samples that will count as an Undroppable Zero.
9. Pro classes do not keep points.

Tire tread samples from the May 31 race have been returned, and everything is finalized. Congratulations to our winners!

Now that this process is complete, I’ll be contacting everyone who has payouts coming from that race and will get your winnings distributed as soon as possible.

I will also finalize the points standings and have them posted within the next day or two.

Just so everyone knows, the woods and property beyond parking is private property. Please do not allow children to go on the woods or anywhere beyond parking in the field.

Children must be supervised the entire time they are at Cross Anchor Raceway. This is for the safety of everyone.

This Sunday May 31st will be the season finale of The GrassRoots Karting Series. Make plans to join us for some of the Best Sunday racing in the upstate. Gates open at 10am and practice will start at 1.
