Happy Mother’s Day to our Hype Dance Moms! 🩵

We asked our minis to share something sweet their moms did for them at our last competition. To all of our wonderful moms, grandmas, aunts, and bonus moms—we are so incredibly grateful for everything you do behind the scenes to help our dancers shine. 1 DAY UNTIL RECITAL!

Last in our senior countdown is Krissy Trojacek! 🎓

Krissy has been a part of the Hype family for 7 years. One of her favorite memories is helping out with summer dance camps, where she loved teaching the younger girls. Krissy’s biggest inspiration is Piper because she grew up looking up to her as a young dancer, eventually sharing the stage with her in production as a 6th grader before finally having Piper as her high school pom coach. Seeing Piper’s journey has shown Krissy that hard work can take you anywhere and that you can always come back to give back to the place that shaped you.

After graduation, Krissy plans to attend Northern Oklahoma College. She will truly miss the people at Hype who made Enid feel like home when she first moved here. During her time at the studio, Krissy hoped to create a welcoming space for others—whether she was teaching Mommy & Me classes, helping families, or getting to share her love of dance with her little sister. Her advice to younger dancers is to always have fun and remember that dance is a way to express your feelings; never give up on yourself and always choose to love what you do.

We are so proud of you, Krissy! 🩵

2 DAYS UNTIL RECITAL!

Next up in our senior countdown is Jesus Solano! 🎓

Jesus has been a part of the Hype family for 3 years. His favorite memory at Hype was the moment right before he went on stage for his first solo. Jesus says Corrinne Kilbourne was the one who started it all for him; she taught him the basics and has been like a big sister he could always relate to. He says he wouldn’t be nearly as confident as he is today without her inspiration and guidance.

After graduation, Jesus plans to attend Oklahoma State University this summer before joining the Navy. While he’ll miss being around people who care so much about what they do, he hopes his time at the studio showed that anyone can love dance, regardless of who they are. His advice to the younger dancers is to always remember to be your own biggest cheerleader.

We are so proud of you, Jesus! 🩵

3 DAYS UNTIL RECITAL!

Next up in our senior countdown is Danielle Jackson! 🎓

Danielle has been a part of the Hype family for 17 years. Looking back, her favorite memory is from her younger days in dance company, specifically when they would win trophies that were actually taller than they were! Danielle’s biggest inspiration at Hype is her older sister, Lauren, who showed her how to push through challenges and have the discipline to achieve big dreams.

After graduation, Danielle plans to attend Colorado State University to study journalism and media. While she will miss the random hugs from the younger dancers most of all, she hopes she left an impact by showing them to never give up and to always push past what they think their limits are. Her advice to the younger girls is to never make yourself feel like you’re less than anyone else, because you deserve the world!

We are so proud of you, Danielle! 🩵

4 DAYS UNTIL RECITAL!

Next up in our senior countdown is Morgan Crenshaw! 🎓

Morgan has been a part of the Hype family for 15 years. Her favorite memories at the studio are the times her dances made it into the Shootout at Stage One Nationals; she says it is always so much fun to compete one last time and truly leave it all out on the floor. Morgan’s biggest inspiration is Chaney, who has always believed in her and helped her become the dancer she is today. Morgan constantly admires Chaney’s talent and has appreciated having her as a shoulder to lean on while growing up at the studio.

After graduation, Morgan plans to attend Oklahoma State University to study Communication Sciences. She says she will miss the way everyone shows up for one another despite their busy lives, and she hopes she left a positive impact by showing younger dancers that hard work, kindness, and leadership always pay off. Her advice to the younger dancers is to always be kind and stay grateful for the opportunities you are given, because we are all extremely lucky to be part of this community.

We are so proud of you, Morgan! 🩵
