Sooo, I’m trying a new process. Yes, still watercolor, BUT after the painting dries, I am affixing it to a wooden panel and coating it with 4 coats of cold wax. The wax seals the painting and protects it from humidity and dirt. It also gives it a lovely, more muted patina that looks more like an oil painting. I’m in love with the new look, but unfortunately the details don’t convey very well in photos. If the sun EVER comes out here, I’ll take the new paintings outside for better photos. New paintings are currently not for sale as I am getting ready for a new exhibition starting Aug 1. Thanks for coming on this ride! 🙏🥰
