Englewood Invitational Art Festivals The show is held on Thanksgiving weekend on the main branch grounds of Englewood Bank & Trust at 1111 S. McCall Road in Englewood.

The Annual Englewood Invitational Art Festivals happen three times a year, Fall, Winter & Spring showcasing Original Art and the Artists who make it! 60 World Class Fine Artists & Craftsmen here for the Best Little Art Show in Englewood. Save the date for Boca Grande Art On Park Avenue, Saturday & Sunday, Feb. 24-25 in beautiful downtown Boca Grande. It's going to be a great event with 50 Fine Artists & Fine Craftsmen, many you've never seen before set up along Park Avenue and 4th Street. The island is gearing up for it and I'm excited to share some of the great art that will be there. Sculpture by John Grammer Art, jewelry by Don McCoy, Mixed Media by Emma Holland, painting by Steve Whitlock Game Fish Art, sculpture by Loura Dobbs, hand made clothing by Laura Concetta, Gary Odmark Painting, jewelry by Alexis Barbeau, and painting by Tara Funk Grim. I look forward to seeing you all on the island on Feb. 24th.

Don't miss the Englewood Invitational Spring Art Festival this Saturday & Sunday, Feb. 25-26 from 10 am - 4 pm both days on the grounds of the Englewood Elks Lodge at 401 N. Indiana Avenue, Englewood. There will be 40 award winning fine artists and craftsmen from all over the country exhibiting and selling their incredible artwork. If you know me, you know that I love kids. Especially art kids. I love their exuberance and their amazing creativity. I taught art camp for many years, and will again, because I feel that I should always share my abilities and artful mind with the younger generation who truly are the hope for the future. That said, I’m excited to announce my Emerging Artists for the 35th Annual Englewood Invitational Winter Art Festival. These are young creatives who are making amazing art and deserve recognition for both their creativity and their drive. It’s impressive.
Katlyn Loboda is a local 15 years old artist who is currently in 10th grade. She makes jewelry. Katlyn describes herself this way : “I am pursuing my passion while also learning the skills of business to reach financial freedom early.”. Wow!
My second emerging artist is the young talented daughter of two of our well known local artists, Jocelyn Hoch & Forrest Shafer. Jasmine has been busy creating her bead bracelet designs along with her water colors and acrylic paintings.
Both young emerging artists will be at the Art Festival this weekend, Saturday & Sunday, Jan. 28-29, from 10 am to 4 pm both days on the grounds of the Englewood Elks Club at 401 N Indiana Ave, Englewood. Come out and show our young artists some love.
