This pastel painting, 19x26 on velour, was just juried into the Pastel Society of Colorado’s Mile High Exhibition (opens 10/1 at Mary Williams Gallery in Boulder).

My pastel "Garden at Grant Humphrey's" was accepted in the Emerging Artist category (reminder: I've only been back painting since May 2010 after an absence of over 30 years). It looks like a great show! (11/15 - 12/31 at the Denver Public Library; reception is 11/15 5:00 - 8:00; I'll be there from around 5 - 6:30)

Two shows: One of my paintings, "Fall Reflections" was accepted into the 16th Annual Artists of Colorado show. This runs from 9/16 - 10/28 at the Event Gallery, 910 Santa Fe Dr, Denver. The other show, Pastel Society of Colorado Mile High International runs just through 9/16, Curtis Arts Center 2349 E. Orchard Av, Greenwood Village, CO. Thank you!
