🐾🎭 HELP THE ANIMALS OF EARS WHILE ENJOYING CHAPATTI! 🎭🐾

Lemon Bay Playhouse is proud to partner with EARS (Englewood Animal Rescue Sanctuary) during the run of Chapatti!

In Chapatti, Betty shares her life with 19 cats and Chapatti is a rescued dog. Now you can help real animals in our community by donating much-needed supplies for EARS.

🐶🐱 Most Needed Items:
• Cat & Dog Food (canned or dry, any brand)
• Cat & Dog Treats
• Cat & Dog Toys
• Paper Towels
• Bleach
• Laundry Detergent
• 33-Gallon Drawstring Trash Bags

Donations may be dropped off:

A New Chapter Begins at Lemon Bay Playhouse 🎭❤️

Today we celebrated both a remarkable legacy and an exciting new beginning.

After years of dedicated service, leadership, and love for Lemon Bay Playhouse, Lori Sigrist is retiring from her role as Executive Director. Lori’s passion, hard work, and commitment have helped shape our theater into the special place it is today. Her impact will be felt for years to come, and we are deeply grateful for everything she has done for our Playhouse family.

As we wish Lori all the happiness and adventure that retirement brings, we are thrilled to welcome Susana Falcon as our new Executive Director. Susana is no stranger to Lemon Bay Playhouse. Her creativity, vision, leadership, and love for the arts make her the perfect person to help guide us into our next chapter.

Please join us in thanking Lori for her years of service and congratulating Susana as she steps into this exciting new role.

The curtain may be closing on one chapter, but another wonderful one is just beginning.

Sometimes community theatre becomes something more.
Tonight I stopped by Lemon Bay Playhouse during dress rehearsal for Chapatti… and found myself completely captivated.

Watching Lynne Doyle and Richard Lambert bring this beautiful story to life felt like sitting in on a master class in acting. Quietly funny, deeply human, tender, heartfelt, and incredibly real , the kind of performances that stay with you long after the lights go down.

This isn’t just a play about growing older.
It’s about loneliness, second chances, companionship, healing… and discovering that it’s never too late for connection, laughter, or love. ❤️

And yes… there’s also a lovable dog and 19 cats involved. 🐶🐱

If you love intimate, meaningful theatre performed by two extraordinary actors at the top of their game, please don’t miss this production.

This Memorial Day, all of us at Lemon Bay Playhouse pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we also take a moment to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and the heroes who gave us the freedoms we enjoy today.

We wish all of our patrons, volunteers, and community members a safe, meaningful, and wonderful Memorial Day weekend. We offer our heart felt thank you for all of you who served .
