Greatest rock ‘n’ roll band ever.
G-d complex how could he not? The power you must get from putting the most people in seats with the highest grossing tours in history, and when he come in, he comes alone and his subjects go nuts. A rock star like no other, no negative history, Bono can get an audience with anyone in the world.
I have never seen a better produced band. That can be a negative when you are in to pure unedited entertainment, but U2 is like a scripted theater show with an amazing sound track. U2 has the greatest inner circle of talent behind them as well, has stood the test of time, and changes in management.
I look at U2’s history and you have to see that Denver played a part at the begging and therefore my father was on the forefront. Very nice of them to thank him last night. So, therefore, I have been there since the begging: Rainbow Music Hall, Red Rocks, US Festival, and Amnesty International. Music Cares man of the year private show at the Marriot Time Square. My favorite, Tempe Arizona, two nights, 10 dollar tix, and all monies went to oust the Governor of Arizona for not recognizing Martin Luther King Day, a show so amazing I sat there and cried. (He was recalled a few months later).
