A local tradition for over 30 years, the Annual Englewood Invitational Winter Art Festival is an outdoor art exhibit and sale featuring the work of over 50 Award Winning Fine Artists & Craftsmen from across the country.

Just two more days until the Best Little Art Show in Englewood. The Englewood Invitational Winter Art Festival is this Saturday & Sunday, Jan. 25-26 on the grounds of the Englewood Elks Lodge at 401 N. Indiana Avenue in Englewood. The show runs from 10 am - 4 pm both days and will feature artists from all over the country along with our local favorites. There will be something for everyone so come out and find that perfect painting or sculpture for your home or a new piece of jewelry. Parking is free and a delicious lunch will be available so bring your family and friends for a day of art and fun.

I want to Thank Everyone who braved the weather this weekend and came out for the 34th Annual Art Show. It was brutal for the artists who once again showed their resilience and strength by sticking it out in 40 mile an hour winds and frigid temperatures. They are my hero’s. And for everyone who put on their winter coats and gloves to support original art, I am forever in your debt. You turned what could have been a disaster into a successful weekend and I appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you ❤️

Come out today for the 34th Annual Englewood Invitational Winter Art Festival from 10 am - 4 pm on the grounds of the Englewood Elks Club at 401 N. Indiana Avenue, Englewood, Florida with lots of free parking. We had a cold windy start yesterday, but thanks to the tenacity of the artists it was a good day with a good crowd. Fifty Award Winning Artists & Craftsmen will be here showing and selling their incredible original artwork all day. Wear a sweater and come to the show. Thank you for supporting original art

Just a couple of days before the Englewood Invitational Winter Art Festival, this weekend, Saturday & Sunday, January 29-30 from 10 am - 4 pm on the grounds of the Englewood Elks Club at 401 N. Indiana Avenue, Englewood, Florida. 50 World Class Artists & Craftsmen will be showing and selling their incredible original artwork for two days. Lots of free parking. Come for a delicious lunch prepared by Killicks Kitchen and enjoy a beautiful day of art and sunshine.
Meet Christopher Tuscan, a Plein Aire Artist who works in the ways of the master's Van Gogh, Monet, Hopper and many others. He has a special vision of the environment and tries to relay it back to the viewer by pulling the audience into the dimensions of the canvas and to create a different way of looking at nature, seeing all the color and excitement that surrounds us.

Make plans to attend the Englewood Invitational Winter Art Festival this coming weekend, Saturday & Sunday, January 29-30 from 10 am - 4 pm both days. It's going to be a weekend of fabulous art, delicious lunches and old-fashioned fun.
Meet artist Ron Lemoine:
All of Ron's sculpted metal pieces are individually hand built. Starting with flat sheet copper, pieces are cut then heated to a pre-melt temperature (annealed) which makes the metal more malleable. He then hammers, twists and hand forms each piece into desired shapes. Most sculptures require multiple smaller pieces which are first fused together with acetylene/oxygen then finished with a 97% copper solder to form the final shape. He also uses assorted copper tube and wire to strengthen and embellish. Chemical solutions such as Ammonium Hydroxide and Sulfur are applied which give color to the metal. Over the years Ron has eliminated the use of machine tools and now employ only snips, hammers, torches and tree-stump anvils in the creation process. He is self taught and has been a full time artisan for over 40 years. Growing up in Southern California Ron spent many hours in and on the Pacific Ocean. The captivating ocean influenced his future direction. He was taught the use of hand tools at an early age as an apprentice to his always busy and creative father. After returning from Viet Nam he enrolled in a commercial hard hat diving school and upon graduation spent the next few years harvesting agar seaweed and abalone off the coast of California. While living on Catalina Island Ron met his future wife and for the next seven years they lived and traveled on a small wooden sailboat. After transiting the Panama Canal, they sailed to Florida where they settled and his journey as an artisan began. The ocean and the imaginative creations of Jules Verne and Walt Disney were great influences to his young mind and can be seen in my Aqua-Punk interpretations of sea life.

Indiana Avenue, in Englewood. 50 Fine Artists & Craftsmen in every media imaginable will be here to share their latest incredible artwork and tell stories about their lives as artists. Meet Steve Whitlock, Watercolorist.
Steve enjoys a rare experience – someone who truly loves his work. Many years as a fishing guide and sportsman eventually led him to a fun and rewarding career as a wildlife artist and marine illustrator. Steve graduated from Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota with a Bachelors Degree in Illustration. Since that time, he’s focused on illustrating saltwater game fish and wildlife onto navigational charts. His main medium is acrylic paint, but also works with pencil designing illustrations of game fish and wildlife.
