Jr. Thespian Troupe #00257 State participants had a successful festival earning 8 Excellent and 4 Superior awards. Earning Excellent awards: Large Group Musical (Alivia Burleson, Kenzie Baggett, Stana Barron, Penelope Barger, Jacklyn Slavens, Emme Shea, Sophie Benson, Emily Azevedo, and Olivia Rittinger), Small Group Musical (Alivia Burleson, Sophie Benson, and Olivia Rittinger), Duet Musical (Kenzie Baggett and Julianna Lake), Solo Musical (Kenzie Baggett), Solo Musical (Emme Shea), Improvisation (Sophia Declaire and Arya Barger), Makeup Design (Emily Azevedo), and Costume Design (Bailey Page). Earning a Superior award: Julianna Lake (Costume Design), Penelope Barger (Costume Design), Emme Shea (Costume Design), and Arianna Solomon (Scene Design).
A special thank you to the leadership of this year’s 8th grade members (Julianna Lake (President), Kenzie Baggett (Vice President), Alivia Burleson (Secretary), Stana Barron, Emme Shea, Penelope Barger, and Jacklyn Slavens who stepped into leadership roles and helped younger members understand the dynamics of the activity.

Congratulations to this group of theater performers. Collectively, they received 10 Superior and 14 Excellent ratings.  And a big shout out to Julianna and Emme for receiving top honors in Costume Design.  Next stop Orlando and the State Festival in February.

Congratulations Junior Thespians of Troupe 00257 on your first performance of An Older Sister’s Guide to Middle School!
I am so proud of their hard work and collaboration on this One Act. It is not usual for middle school troupes to write, direct, design, perform, and tech a one act! I cannot wait to work with this talented group in the fall!
Thank you to family, friends, and community members for coming out to support our growing troupe! We hope you all enjoyed the performance! 🎭

Join us tomorrow evening as Jr Troupe 00257 presents their first ever Troupe written One Act! The script, costumes, props, set, and blocking were all done by our middle school troupe!

Admission is free but we will be accepting donations at the door to help build our troupe and middle school theatre program!

The show starts at 6pm in the LBHS Performing Arts Center, we hope to see you there!
