Sad news. The power outage and subsequent surges has possibly fried our projector. If nothing else, it's not working. We don't want to speak too soon but this is.. not good. I don't know what the result will be but we are now closed temporarily for movies and staring down an incredibly costly expense ($30,000+) and some time to get a new one. The horror fest for Saturday does not look promising. We will of course reschedule or refund if you prefer, if that comes to be the case. Our Englewood power surge survival luck may have ran out. It's a very disheartening situation, sorry everyone.

Note: We will keep you updated as we learn more options tomorrow. We will consider a GoFundMe or something like that in the coming days but for now we are just a few hours into this.

Thanks for all the ❤️

Yarnies and Swag is hosting a Crow Party! My wife also created a really cool graphic she spent some time on.. check it out 🐦‍⬛

You're invited! Friday November 6th at 7:30pm Yarnies will be hosting a Crow Party!

Wearing blacks and blues and/or feathers is encouraged, but not required.

Bring a couple trinkets to trade if you'd like to participate in the trinket trading. Trinkets can be anything tiny that's shiny, odd, pretty, or makes you smile. This includes shiny rocks, stitch markers, dice, buttons, enamel pins, vintage keys, small bottles, crystals, tiny ceramic figurines, stickers, etc. Items can be thrifted, handmade, repurposed, or found. It is about the novelty, not the price tag, so don't feel obligated to spend money on your trinkets.
All items should be clean and safe to handle.

Snacks will be provided, if you're interested in bringing anything let us know.

5 YEARS! A little over 5 years ago I was a receptionist and my wife was a dental assistant in Tennessee. I woke her up at 3 AM showing her a cinema was for sale in Englewood, Ohio.. 2 days later we were here. I think some family members believed we had lost our minds. The reality of this did not seem at all very attainable but love and support is a really powerful thing. She now is getting to do her dream next door to the cinema at Yarnies and Swag So many people have helped us get here but some extra thank you's to Matt, Jarod, Sashae, Erin, Chris, Shadow.. My fellow dreamer idiedtrying Also, our incredible monthly Rocky Horror shadowcast Dead Man's Rocky
Attached are some highlight photos, I still can't believe we got Lloyd Kaufman to come here with The Toxic Avenger and he spent so much time talking with me about movies.... Thank you so much to the community for keeping us around for five years and hopefully many more! I am so thankful I get to do this.
