Introducing Betty Rex. She is a second set of eyes in the art room in charge of whole class behavior stars. If the kids are safe, kind, and clean on time we get a star for the week. 6 stars means an art party day! So far my classes are rocking it! Happy first week!

Hey Kleptz Families! I've been pretty quiet, but have lots of things going on behind the scenes. One major thing is a FALL ART SHOW for first graders. It will be on display during the Fall Barbeque and at this point almost every kiddo has a finished piece ready to show off.

Want to volunteer to help? I need help prepping for the show, rolling masking tape into balls, mounting art onto paper and hanging the show.

September 18-22 will be my crunch time. If you could come in to help an hour or so one day, feel free to email me. [email protected]
I'll have time available to work from 9-10am each morning and hanging the show from 9:30-10:30am on Friday the 22nd. Let me know if you'd like to help! 💚

Rainbow Day🌈 thanks Scarlett for not giving up on this. ❤️ Backstory: a kid who sits next to her accidentally dripped the bluish purple paint on her paper. Together we came up with the idea to turn the spot of unwanted color into a cloud, which turned in to lots of clouds. Artists persevere. 😎

Started the week with frozen eyelashes at car duty and ended with a love you message. This year has been full of extra roles like tutoring, subbing, and being home with my own sick kids so I haven’t been around much to update things like this. Still loving my students, just waiting on warmer weather!🙌🏼
