Greetings in Christ,
Samson’s Coffee House closed its 28th season on May 20th. I cannot thank all the volunteers and attendees enough for the support and dedication they have shown these many years. This past season was particularly challenging, but it reminded me, once again, the power of Christ's family to come together and support one another in ministry.
After much input, thought and prayer, we have decided that the May 2026 coffee house will be our last.
It has been a joy to start and grow this ministry at OSLC and everyone should feel very proud of what we have done together. However, the hard truth is that we no longer are able to support a monthly event and need to extend our ministry efforts in new directions.
God has a different plan for our ministry focus. Moving from a "scheduled" monthly event will give us more flexibility and a chance to more effectively promote new events throughout the year.
Below are some ideas that are currently under discussion:
-Annual Music Festival: 1st one is scheduled for all day October 17, 2026
-Christmas Sing-along
-Re-Imagining Samson's Easter Musical for 2027
-summer concert event
-Mystery Dinner Theater
