On February 6, 2010, we opened the doors to our very first on Ventura Blvd — in the middle of a recession, with a big dream and a leap of faith.
The vision was simple but bold:
✨ artistry over trends
✨ strong ballet and technical foundations
✨ real-world performance experiences
✨ and a community where every student is seen, valued, and supported
Sixteen years later, Degas has grown into a second international academy , a NEW franchise business helping the next generation of dance studio entrepreneurs and — most importantly — a community that continues to shape young dancers not just as artists, but as humans.
I’m beyond grateful to love what I do and to know that together we’re creating experiences, memories, and life skills that last far beyond the studio walls.
