Down on the Farm Car Show was the place to be today!
I had my vendor setup AND a face paint booth. Thank you to my mom for taking over the vendor section! I even got to have student volunteers with me for face painting! (Even a former Art Club kid!)
I was able to view all of the participating cars and get pictures for future ideas🤗
I got to witness one of my current students first car show participation experience with his family. I got to see him in his element❤️
I donated a painting for the raffle and witnessed the winning ticket. I even sold a painting today! Even took a spin on the “tractor choo choo!”
This is one of my favorite events of the year and it gets better and better! Thank you to everyone that works behind the scenes to pull this amazing event off! Proceeds this year went to Conway Fire Department.

Thank you to Sarah and her best friends for having me tonight as part of their annual girls trip to Lake Gaston! Everyone did a great job and I enjoyed a wonderful night of stories and 90’s country! Even found out Sarah and I are birthday twins! You all are a fun bunch!

Somewhere along the way, a lot of us decided art belonged to the people who were “good” at it.

So we stopped drawing because it didn’t look right.
We stopped painting because there wasn’t a purpose.
We stopped making because we didn’t know what we’d do with it afterward.

But maybe the making *is* the purpose.

No grade. No audience. No perfect finished product. Just curiosity, color, and a little space to find yourself again.

What would you make if it didn’t have to be good?
