Our Story… Well, since this is chapter one, the story is yet to fully unfold! I can tell you one thing about this weird mash-up of free sprited Pyro-Maniacs… We are the offspring that did NOT listen to our parents when they said “Don’t play with fire!” “But…But…But….Its soooo FUNNNNNN!!!!!” We can swing fireballs around our heads and breath fire from our mouths like Dragons?! For me personally, the first time I saw fire poi I knew I had to get in on this action. It wasn’t even about the entertainment factor. I just enjoyed the sound of the flames as they wrapped around my body, and the feel of the heat kissing my skin. I felt powerful and beautiful as I danced with the dangerous balls of fire controlled in the palms of my hands. I had finally found my flow! The best part about this strange obsession is that I was not alone. On the contrary, I was welcomed with open arms into a community I now consider to be family. We take care of each other, learn from each other, teach each other, play together, laugh together… And now, we would like to share our enthusiasm for fire with YOU! Turns out, we are quite entertaining! We are the New AUSTIN COMBUSTION CREW, on our journey to choreograph and produce a mind-dazzling show so hot it will scorch the tips of your eyelashes and melt your sizzling heart! (metaphorically of course…Safety Third, afterall!)
