From These Hills - Juried Exhibition at William King Museum of Art.

Congratulations to Autumn Roe (Alum) and Dan Van Tassell (Assistant Professor of Art) for being selected this year by juror Ali Printz, who is an Appalachian historical painter, curator, and art historian who studies the exclusion of Appalachia in modern and contemporary American art and is currently pursuing a PhD from the Tyler School of Art & Architecture at Temple University in Philadelphia.

The exhibit continues through February 24, 2024 at the Museum in Abingdon, Virginia.

The Art Department mourns the loss of Rachel Denham. Rachel studied under Professor Chavatel. She ultimately served as an art professor at Ferrum University. We extend our condolences to her family, friends and her husband, Bob. Rachel, thank you for your beautiful service to our region, your wonderful art, and may you Rest In Peace.
