The Pro Late Model class will have an intense and tight points battle of its own this Saturday! 14 of the 17 Pro Late model races that have been contested at Motorplex at the Mill in our short history have been won by your top three in points heading into this weekend making it the ultimate Heavyweight Showdown.
With this weekend being a double makeup for the Pro Lates this will in essence be a double points night with the twin 50 laps mains for the class. This puts the points gaps as tight as they can get for the top three cars in points.
Zach Telford currently holds the tight points lead and the tie breaker with two wins on the season. He is looking for his first Motorplex at the Mill Track Championship this Saturday. Travis Milburn your 2025 track champion sits just three points back and has one win on the season. With two races this weekend that means the wins tiebreaker is still up for grabs. Eric Rhead is your 2024 track champion and has been the model of consistency this season which has kept him in striking distance of the top two. In 2024 he was in a must win situation entering round five and won and then did just enough to beat Telford for the 2024 Championship in a tie break on Championship night. Rhead has already shown he has the ability to perform at his best when it matters most.
This just adds to the already exciting Modified Championship race only making this weekend's racing that much bigger and exciting!
