🎨 CALL FOR ENTRIES: MAKE ELYRIA A WONDERLAND CONTEST 🎨
Join us in making Elyria a wonderland! We invite you to participate in a unique contest where your creativity will be showcased for all to see. Dr. Alice Gobeille for Mayor of Elyria Committee is thrilled to announce the "Make Elyria a Wonderland" contest, where your artwork could be selected to grace lawn signs during the 2023 election season!
🌟 WHAT DOES "MAKE ELYRIA A WONDERLAND" MEAN TO YOU? 🌟
Imagine Elyria as a wonderland and let your imagination soar! Show us your vision of Elyria as a wonderland through your drawings and colors. What makes Elyria special to you? How can we create a community that thrives and brings joy to all who call it home? We want to see your interpretation of this enchanting idea.
🖌️ HOW TO PARTICIPATE 🖌️
1️⃣ Create an original drawing that portrays "Make Elyria a Wonderland." Let your creativity shine and explore topics such as family, school, health and safety, love of God and neighbor, protecting our natural resources, city prosperity, or a topic of your own that embodies the spirit of Elyria as a wonderland.
2️⃣ There are three age groups: 7 and younger, 8-15, and 16 and older. Choose the appropriate age group for your entry.
3️⃣ Submit your drawing by August 15, 2023. You can either deliver it in person to Dr. Alice Gobeille for Mayor Campaign Headquarters at 121 Harrison St, Elyria OH 44035, text to 330-564-3050 or email it to [email protected].
4️⃣ A panel of four judges will carefully review all entries and select six winners. Each age group will have two winners.
5️⃣ Winners will be announced on September 1, 2023. If your artwork is chosen, it will be printed on lawn signs that will be proudly displayed throughout Elyria during the 2023 election season.
