The Elyria Public Library West River Branch is displaying artwork created by the art teachers of Lorain County. If you have time, stop and visit this beautiful show. The show contains art from Elyria High’s art teachers Mel Rainey and John Filipiak.

A very big congratulations to all the Elyria High School students whose art has been selected to be displayed in the Scholastic Art Competition. Shout out to Gabby and Jaslin for receiving silver keys. All their art will on display at the Stockard Center at LCCC. The gallery will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4-6:30 through February 12.

Let’s hear it for some of our AMAZING student artists who recently earned recognition for their stellar artwork in a county-wide exhibit! This news comes to us from Elementary Art Teacher, Heather Hale.

Westwood Elementary:
Please join me in congratulating Ryan Williams, 3rd Grade, Mrs. Smith's class, whose art WON two awards at the Lorain County Elementary and Middle School Art Exhibition.
The art exhibition is on display at the West River Branch of the Elyria Public Library through tonight!
Ryan won a Best of Show Award and a People's Choice Honorable Mention!
Congratulations, Ryan, and thank you for representing the fine arts program in Elyria City Schools and Westwood Elementary!

Eastern Heights Elementary:
