Wedging, centering, opening & shaping, drying, trimming, bisque firing, glazing, glaze firing…there are quite a few steps between transforming a chunk of clay into a finished ceramics piece!

Students in Wade Pharr’s multi-week Wheel Throwing class learn what all these steps entail and work towards creating their own finished, ceramics pieces. Wade balances teaching the steps to the entire group and working with each individual student to tailor their class experience to their skill level and desired project.

Interested in trying it yourself? Wade is offering a 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀! This seven class series takes place on Thursday evenings 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 16𝘁𝗵.You’ll also have access to our Ceramics Studio for the duration of your class.

In June, Wade will also be offering a 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘀 class as well!
