Today is the day to explore downtown Ely and find treasures, special deals, and lots of shopping for the upcoming seasons. The Art Bank at 399 Aultman has items for sale in the bank vault. Step into the vault and discover artwork and other items. Find the hidden blue bird in the Art Bank and win a $50 gift certificate for the Art Bank. The next Renaissance Village Tea will be held Sunday, September 6th, 1- 4 pm. The theme is a tea dance and period dress of the 1920's - 1950's is encouraged. Tickets are available at the Bristlecone Convention Center. $45 each. Limited seating. What a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Stop by the Renaissance Village at 400 Ely Street today or tomorrow from 10 am to 4 pm. The houses are all open for you to explore and there is a great collection of antiques in the barn. You never know what treasures you may find.

The Renaissance Village is a hidden treasure in downtown Ely. This piece of property consists of 8 houses, the miner's
cabin, the barn and the general store. The property belonged to the Geraghty family, who lived in what is now the English house.
The time period of the village is early 1900s. The original linoleum, wood cook stoves, and ice boxes are original to the houses. Furniture, colors and decor are representative of each ethnic group showcased here.
The top of the barn has become a place where antique furniture and other items can be purchased. The inventory changes regularly and unique pieces can be found.
The village is open on Friday and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm, May through early October.

5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Jason will be signing copies of his book featuring his photography of White Pine County attractions and scenery. His photography will be on display and for sale. This is your chance to met the artist and have a beautiful piece of art of our area.
