Update on Jerrard started the morning off rocky, nurses tried to feed him and he vomited. Doctor were worried that he may have aspirated, but he did not. That was a positive, but the best news was he has been without a seizure for 24hrs!!! Doctor say they want to ease him off the seizure medication. Hopefully if all goes well they will remove the ventilator cause he has been breathing more on his own another positive. Lastly, crossing our fingers they may try to wake him up, which is the best news of the day. Thank you to everyone who prayed for him. He still has a long road ahead of him but finally got some good news.

Update on Jerrard he is out of surgery and it went well. Doctors want to slowly take him off the ventilator, but this is helping with the seizure. Still has some blood on the brain, but they want him to absorb this. He has been so strong during this, and thanks for all of your prayers.

We do have another update on Jerrard, he will be having surgery tomorrow in the morning. They did find the aneurysm, he will be having a flow diversion stent put in. He is still listed critical but stable. Now is the time he needs us more than ever, please send prayers his way.

We have an update on Jerrard, we want to clarify a rumor going around and that he is NOT on life support. That is totally not true. He has had a couple of seizures and doctors decided to put him on the ventilator to help with his breathing, just incase he had another episode it will allow his airway to close. While doing this they found the drain wasn’t working correctly so they are replacing that. He is heavily sedated and we should know more tomorrow. He is in good spirits and still needs us more than ever.

Update on Jerrard Wilkerson doctors were able to drain some of the brain bleed. They want drain the bleed slowly. He had a CT Scan and will monitor him for 24 hrs. Doctors will know more in the morning. We were able to go back and see Jerrard. He was alert talking and said the headaches he was experiencing were starting to go away. I was even able to get him to smile, so we will take that. From the bottom of my heart thank you everyone who said a prayer, messaged me, or called. Jerrard is going to have a lengthy recovery but he’s in the best hands possible.

Please keep Jerrard Wilkerson in your prayers. He was rushed to Elwood Hospital, it was revealed at the hospital he has a massive brain bleed, and was lifeline to Methodist. He will be having emergency surgery, and he needs our prayers. He is one of the strongest men I have ever met and he needs us more than ever.
