Snowman painting
Winter time for me is cold, dark and hibernating.

But some days can be blue skies, temps 40 and up or looking out the window seeing the snow falling down, beautiful!

This painting gives homage to childhood. Playing in the snow, having snowball fights, making snowmen, falling down in the snow.
Laughter! Smiles! Fun!

It was a fabulous open house for Golden Hour. The theme for Frankfort Arts in Illinois. There were refreshments and music. There were several pieces that caught my eye. One standout was painted by Steve Loytsz. It is a watercolor of people fishing. The water had a aurora borealis effect, quite something to see in person.

It will be there until Feb 22 2026.
