The stand is FULLY stocked and ready for the long weekend feast parade 🍞✨
Fresh sourdough, sweet treats, pantry goodies, and a few new things joined the lineup…

🥖 NEW sourdough buns are now at the stand
🍪 Our cookie snack packs got a fun little makeover into bite-size packs… basically cookie cereal and honestly? We support this life choice.

Perfect for road trips, backyard bonfires, lake weekends, or standing in your kitchen eating tiny cookies by the handful like a woodland raccoon with excellent taste.

The stand is OPEN today, and despite the drizzle, the kitchen is in full cozy mode! Fresh sourdough bread is currently cooling and should be out by around 11 AM.

Fresh from the oven:

Currently baking:

🍕 Pizza crusts

And for today’s little baking adventure… I’m attempting DONUTS later this morning/early afternoon! If all goes according to plan, they should be out around 2 PM 🍩💛

Just a little reminder from The Open Shelf 🌾

We are taking a small baking break this week to rest, reset, and refill the flour bins, but don’t worry… the ovens will be back in action this Saturday with lots of fresh baked goodies waiting for you! 🍪🍞✨

We’ll have fresh sourdough, sweet treats, and other farmstand favorites available this weekend, so be sure to stop by and stock up.

Even during our baking break, the free library and non-perishable items will still be open and available as usual. 💛

🌷 Mother’s Day at The Open Shelf 🌷

Wishing a beautiful Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmas, bonus moms, plant moms, fur mommas, and every woman who shows up with love in her hands and kindness in her heart. 💛

Today is also the last day to grab some gluten-free fresh baked goods until Saturday, 5/16, as I’ll be taking the week off from baking for a little reset and recharge. The ovens are getting a tiny vacation… probably wearing sunglasses and holding iced coffee. ☀️🍞

But don’t worry, we’ll be back Saturday with:

The Farmstand is open and she’s looking extra springy today 🌿✨
We added potted flowers to the landscaping, fresh bouquets are stocked, and the smell of cheddar & jalapeño sourdough is currently floating through the air while the loaves cool on the counter 🌶️🧀🍞

If you needed a sign to take the scenic route today… this is it. 💐
