Elmira Infinite Canvas is a public art program of Community Arts of Elmira, in collabaoration with groups, organizations, businesses and the City of Elmira, funded by donations, sponsorships and grants. At times, we are the lead organization working with supporting community partners; other times we are the supporting community partner, collaborating with assistance in project management, securing artists, budgeting and/or grant writing, for example. Public art is not only a visual gift to the community present, but also an attractor to those considering visiting or moving to the community, , uplifting neighborhood, district and place. We thank Second District Councilperson Brent Stermer for his visionary support of and committed advocacy for public art in Elmira, New York.
