Spotlight Productions is a community theater program sponsored by the Rockwood School District. Spotlight currently produces one full-stage musical production each summer that is rehearsed in a camp style format for ages 7 and up. This camp offers educational programming such as audition, stage make-up application, projection, and dance workshops in addition to other activities and games that intr

oduce beginners to the wonderful world of musical theater as well as further educate those participants who are already well-versed in the art. Our core staff consists of a Production Manager, Director, Music Director, Choreographer, Stage Manager , and Assistant Music Director. All areas of theater are introduced to the participants though a six-week rehearsal and education programming process. At the end of the camp the hard work of the participants is demonstrated through multiple public performances of a full-stage musical presented to a paying audience.
