Hexed is so proud of the our team who helps this all come together, it was such a fun weekend! We hope everyone who came out had a blast and can’t wait until next year!
SCREAMIVERSE EXPO 2 HAS COME TO A CLOSE…What a beautiful weekend.
We were surrounded by incredible art, amazing energy, and a whole lot of new and old friends. From the moment the doors opened Saturday morning, we saw so many smiling faces come through, and people who stayed with us all weekend long. Talking with guests, supporting vendors, watching films and panels, laughing, connecting… that’s why we do this. Screamiverse is about community.
A place for lovers of horror, science fiction, counterculture art, craft makers, artisans, oddities, paranormal enthusiasts, independent filmmakers—and anyone walking to the beat of their own drum.
And there are so many people to thank.
First and foremost, our SCREAM TEAM—our volunteer staff who show up not just during the weekend, but in the weeks leading up to it. The crew from Hexed Haunted Attraction are the backbone of this event. They’re the faces you see all weekend long—helping vendors unload, pointing you in the right direction, answering questions, or just making sure you feel welcome. Always smiling, always ready to help. We love them, and Screamiverse wouldn’t be Screamiverse without them.
We also want to give a huge thank you to our friends at Terror Manor. Rob, Brad, and their entire team have become an essential part of what we do. Not only do they support us throughout the process, but they open up their Midway for our after show—giving everyone a place to keep the party going after the doors close at the Berglund Center on Saturday night. Live music, great vibes, and a place to wind down (or turn up) before crashing at the hotel—it means the world to us to have them on this journey with us.
A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO OUR VENDORS. You are the heartbeat of Screamiverse. The artists, makers, collectors, and creators who transform this event into something truly special. From original artwork and handmade goods to oddities, films, and everything in between—you bring the weird, the wild, and the wonderful. Watching people connect with your work, discover something new, and support what you do is one of the best parts of the entire weekend. We’re so grateful you chose to spend it with us.
AND TO OUR INCREDIBLE 2026 GUESTS—THANK YOU. Sean Ridgeway, Rebecca Hollingsworth, Jeff Brennan, Andrew Hubatsek, Candice Rose, Tara Buckman, Michael Alcott, HauntedNova.cos, Chanda Rawlings, Kat Cressida, Eddie Deezen and Brett Wagner— We loved meeting you, hearing your stories, and sharing so many laughs together. You helped make this weekend unforgettable. We truly hope you felt welcomed into our spooky little home here in the Roanoke Valley.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR HOSTS.
Tara and Savannah on the SEC Stage, and Murphy Lawless on the Berglund Stage—you are the voice of Screamiverse. Programming is such a huge part of what we do. We love our panels—being able to sit down with our guests and dive into conversations about film, the paranormal, cryptids, UFOs, and everything in between. Our hosts jump in headfirst every time, bringing energy, personality, and heart to every moment. We adore this team, and we’re already looking forward to next year’s conversations with you all leading the charge. Thank you!
A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR COSPLAY PARTNERS, Mizfit Cosplayers of Virginia. From judging the contest, to setting up cosplay repair, to guiding contestants through prejudging and lineup—they helped make the entire process smooth, welcoming, and accessible. Our cosplay contest continues to grow, and creating a comfortable and fun environment for everyone involved is a top priority. They are a huge part of that mission, and we’re so grateful to have them on our team.
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS. None of this is possible without your support and belief in what we’re building.
Radford University, Renewal by Anderson, Leafguard, The Fright Shop, BC Photography, Terror Manor, and our friends at the Berglund Center—thank you for helping make Screamiverse Expo a reality.
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST—YOU.
The ones who showed up. The ones who spent your hard-earned money and your time with us this weekend. Your support is the reason we get to keep doing this—creating a space where all of the beautiful, strange, and wonderful things we love can exist together.Keep coming. Bring your friends. Be part of this.We promise to keep building something special.
WITH SPOOKY LOVE AND GRATITUDE,
DAN, TIM, AND MARK 🖤
