Our 2026 summer camp session has begun and our first week of rehearsals for “Newsies, Jr.” was amazing!! We have a fantastic group of kids who not only went through auditions and callbacks this week but ALSO learned the first half of the show!!!

Calling all rising 6th–10th graders in Ellington and surrounding communities—registration is now open for this summer's Ellington Middle School Drama Troupe Summer Theatre Camp!

This year, we’re bringing "Newsies, Jr." to life and we want YOU on stage with us! No need to attend Ellington Public Schools - everyone is welcome!

What to Expect:
Daily rehearsals: July 13–30, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Performances at Ellington Middle School:
Friday, July 31 at 7:00 PM
Saturday, August 1 at 2:00 PM
All campers perform and help bring the show to life behind the scenes!

Beyond the stage, campers enjoy:
Crafting (props, character boxes & more)
Fun Fridays (games, karaoke, outdoor time!)
Spirit Week (themed dress-up days!)

All participants must sign up by May 29th!

Thank you to everyone who came out to see “Frozen, Jr.” this weekend. What an amazing group of students!!! This group hug backstage says it all. 💙

We have two more shows today before we “let it go” for good!! “Frozen, Jr.” is at 2pm and 7pm at EMS. Tickets are $10 and can still be purchased at the box office a half hour before the show (cash only).

We want YOU to come see “Frozen, Jr.” this weekend!! Tonight is OPENING NIGHT - doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7pm. We still have some tickets available for purchase at the door for $10 - cash only!!!
