Calling all knitters, crocheters, and yarn enthusiasts! 🧶

Local yarn store Knitting Romance is creating a warm welcome for two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster when she visits IU Auditorium on Oct. 6!

Inspired by Sutton’s love of crochet and crafting, you’re invited to contribute a 5”x5” granny square. Feel free to use your own pattern from classic granny square, garter-knit, or any other design you choose! Yarn should be either IU Crimson OR Cream.

Want to participate? Drop off your square at Knitting Romance, 123 N. Sale Street in Ellettsville, by Sept. 25.

Ready for some history? Local author Penelope Mathiesen will be here signing her book about a local Ellettsville lost landmark, the Worley mansion. Proceeds from book sales will go to The Monroe County History Center.
September 19th 11-1pm.

So excited!

Happy Friday! We have officially set the date for 2027 yarn crawl! Crazy but true!
We moved the date to a week later in August to avoid back to back yarn crawls for some of the shops. And for those with kids or teach to adjust to school schedules!
We now have a website! But, it is a work in progress!
And can you guess why the creepy graphics? Are you superstitious?
We hope to see you next year!
