Thank you ALL for an incredible second annual Milltown Get Down! 🐑 🎸 We had two amazing days of unforgettable performances, and the weather showed up in two very different ways. Friday: On cloud nine. Saturday: Different clouds and a whole lot more than nine. But that didn’t stop us 💙 Incredible music, spontaneous collaborations, and some truly special moments made this a weekend we’ll always remember. Thank you to everyone who rolled with us through it all. You’re what makes this festival so special, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Hey, y’all! You might notice a handful of our scheduled vendors aren’t here today due to the weather forecast. Be sure to show some extra love to the folks braving the potential rain with us! We sure do appreciate them! We’ll continue to monitor the weather and we can’t wait to get down with everybody!

With some rain in the forecast, we’re making a few adjustments to keep things running smoothly and make your festival experience a little easier (and hopefully drier!).
GATE & SHUTTLE UPDATE: The back gate will be CLOSED. All festivalgoers must enter through the MAIN GATE. Shuttles will now drop off at the corner of Commerce and Bridge Streets, just a short sidewalk walk from the main entrance.
🎻 OLD TIME JAM: We’re moving the jam indoors to The Reeves Café! Same time, 12–1:30 PM, just a new spot to gather and pick.
🎨 KIDS AREA: The kids area will now be located on the River Stage lawn.
💧 CREEK STAGE: The creek stage will be closed for the duration of the festival. All acts will be at the River Stage!
Thanks for rolling with us as we make these adjustments. We can’t wait to see y’all for Day 2!

Rain or shine, the Get Down goes on! 🌧️🎶

Today we kick it all off! Milltown Get Down 2026 this weekend! FREE show in the Reeves Theater to start it all with Matt Tedder the shredder 🎸 SUSTO & Cordovas down on the river stage at the heritage center to our main Friday event. A whole slew of pals on Saturday for the full day of the festival. Y’all don’t miss it!

🔸It’s festival season! This weekend downtown Elkin is hosting the Milltown Get Down festival.

🔸This means the street in front of Hunt’s (Standard St) will be closed this Saturday, October 10th. HOWEVER! The street behind (W. Commerce St) and beside us (Elk St) will be open!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️Parking for Hunt’s customers will be available on the side and back parking lots!

We are always thankful to our loyal customers for coming out and supporting us so frequently. 🩵
