Urban Equine Events is founded by the Urban family of Elkhorn, NE. Each member of the family brings a unique skill set and perspective to the table. Founders Jim and Patrice Urban have decades of experience in the horse industry through operating their equestrian business Quail Run Horse Centre. Their son Dan is an active equestrian professional and helps to represent the exhibitors point of view.

Their middle son Mike has worked for horse show management throughout the country for over 10 years. Their youngest son Tom has valuable experience as a facility manager. This unique blend of experience is undoubtedly a winning combination for producing top level competitions.

THE OCTOBER SHOW HAS BEEN APPROVED!

Join us back at the Quail Run Horse Centre to close out the 2026 Urban Equine Events season with our newly added Fall Finale - October 1-4, 2026.

We will go to work organizing all the details and have that Prize List available soon!!

The Prize List for the upcoming End of Summer at Quail Run: August 27-30, 2026 is NOW AVAILABLE!!

We hope to see you back at Quail Run Horse Centre for the next installment of the 2026 UEE Show Season!

If you are interested in joining us, please help us out by submitting your stabling reservation. Stabling Reservations must be made online and can be completed by following this link:

Entries may be submitted in the following ways:
1) Online via our show program Ring Radar (www.ringradar.com) ***This option will be available shortly***
2) Digitally by visiting our website, downloading the fillable entry blank, filling it out, saving it, and emailing it back to Patrice at [email protected]

We are still compiling the information about the potential October show, and as soon as we have that sorted out, we will let you all know! So far it's looking possible!!

Greetings friends of UEE and Mid States!
In the wake of the unfortunate cancelation of Maffit Lake and Minnesota Harvest shows we wanted to reach out and inquire about interest in UEE adding a show in October at Quail Run.

Help us keep quality shows available and accessible in the Midwest and let us know if this is something you could attend.

The North Iowa Events Center is not available during this time so the plan would be to hold this event at the Quail Run Horse Centre in Omaha, NE.

Before we jump through the necessary hoops of making this happen we wanted to gather an idea of what attendance might look like. Please contact Dan Urban directly with your thoughts either for or against at 619-820-3802 or [email protected].
