So.... I've been MIA for a bit, but I have a really good reason. Well, technically two reasons
I found out early last year, while I was working on my first shop updated in ages, that I was pregnant again. We then found out a few weeks later that we were expecting twins 🥴
There was no family history of twins so my partner & I were wildly surprised when just one more turned into a BOGO.
I got huge fast & it made working in the studio nearly impossible. Aside from normal pregnancy things, it was a pretty uneventful pregnancy until September. I was in & out of the hospital (2 helicopter rides!) with blood pressure & kidney function issues.
The twinnies joined us early on September 19th at just 33 weeks and 2 days gestation. Despite being early, they both came into the world screaming. Our little girl, Meadow Maeve came earth side first, joined shortly after by our little boy, River Killian. They both surprised everyone with how strong they were & how well they were doing. After about a month they both were home from the NICU (longest month of my fu***ng life)
Willow is an amazing big brother and the twinnies already love their big brother so much. 3 was not the plan but I can't imagine life without them now
I love ceramics like crazy but life is a whole different level of busy these days and time in the studio is hard to carve out. I'll still be making, just very slowly & sporadically as we navigate this new season of life
