🥁 Extraordinary Artists. Extraordinary Connections.

One of the most exciting things about Season 79 of the Elkhart County Symphony Orchestra is the opportunity to welcome remarkable guest artists, including pax duo, the innovative percussion ensemble featured in our Planetary Finale on May 16, 2027, at The Lerner Theatre.

And pax duo has a special connection to our community. Tristan Swihart and Micah Detweiler are both graduates of Goshen College, making their return to the area with ECSO an especially meaningful homecoming. Their inventive approach to percussion will bring Holst's The Planets to life in a finale unlike anything we've presented before!

They join an extraordinary Season 79 guest performer lineup that includes ECSO principal oboist Heidi Eash, acclaimed cellist Khari R. Joyner, the Camerata Singers and Goshen College Choirs, guest conductor Michael Stern, and the winner of ECSO's newly revived Youth Concerto Competition.

Five concerts. Extraordinary artists. And one unforgettable season.
