Why are we selling the business? Right now, I am working a full-time job and taking over the farm from my father. I don’t have the time for the company anymore, to be honest.

Love music and people? Then this maybe your dream job! Shield Entertainment is looking for a part time position MC / DJ Assistant to join their team of entertainment experts. We are a mobile disc jockey company providing fun, professional, high energy DJ & MC services for weddings, parties and school dances.

Job Description:
The job of an MC / DJ assistant is to perform the duties of MC (master of ceremonies) for all type of events. You will be talking on a microphone in front of a crowd. You will also be motivating large groups of people to dance, take requests, coordinate details with clients and other event vendors, host games, set up/take down equipment, load/unload equipment, take guest photos and help the DJ with any other tasks. If you meet all of these requirements, you may just become the next member of Shield Entertainment DJ's.

Job Requirements:
Must live preferably within 40 miles of Elkhart, Indiana. Reliable transportation required. Must be available on all or most weekends. Excellent communication skills are a must. You must be a very reliable, energetic and outgoing person with a great personality. Preferred but not required: experience talking in front of a large audiences, vast music knowledge, dance skills, and/or the ability to lift 60 pounds. Knowledge of music is important, knowledge of audio and lighting is a benefit. Understanding that customer service is important. Over the age of 21, please.

Get paid to work and have fun at the same time!

Depending on experience pay starts out at around 10 to 15 dollars per hour. If we have to train you we ask that you start out as an Intern to learn everything that is needed to be a good DJ.
