Two great OHP musicals coming to the Elkader Opera House stage this fall!

The Opera House Players are excited to announce two great musicals to round out 2026!

In October, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown brings the Peanuts gang to life with a fun, lighthearted look at friendship, school, and growing up. Performances are October 2, 3, 9, and 10 at 7:00 PM and October 4, 8, and 11 at 2:00 PM. Directed by David Beck.

In December, Annie the Musical takes the stage with its classic story, memorable characters, and songs that audiences know and love. Performances are December 4, 5, 11, and 12 at 7:00 PM and December 6 and 13 at 2:00 PM. Directed by Cheri Moser.

Auditions for both shows will be held May 18 & 19. No experience is necessary, and rehearsals are scheduled around participant conflicts. More information, including audition details, will be shared soon.

Coming to the Elkader Opera House this June! Save the dates!

Announcing the 2026 OHP Youth Theatre Camp show, Olympus!

OLYMPUS is a laugh-out-loud rock musical where ancient myths meet modern mischief! The Greek gods, tired of their immortal routines, spark a competition to meddle with mortals and prove who’s the greatest greek god of all time.

The camp dates will run June 15-19 with a 7 PM performance on Friday, June 19th. This camp is open to ages 8-13. Registration form will be available to download on April 1st. Registration and payment must be mailed. Registration will close when full. (30 total participants.)
