Apparently Merlin has become a little bit of a celebrity around here. šŸ˜‚ His latest reel is at more than 3,500 views and still moving, which for my little corner of the internet is pretty damn viral.

But Merlin didn’t come here just to be famous.

Merlin came here to teach.

If Merlin found his way into your feed today, his message is 000. A reset. A beginning. A little reminder that there is still magic here.

Go listen to a song that lifts your heart. Go outside. Put your feet on the earth. Pay attention to the animals. Pay attention to what keeps appearing around you. Be a little wild. Be a little feral. Remember that you belong to the earth too.

And love. Love love love love love.

Love is all you need.

Everything is energy, and we don’t have to keep allowing everything outside of us that is operating at such a low density to determine the energy we carry inside of us. Balance is possible, but real balance can’t exist when some are required to have less so that others can endlessly have more.

Merlin knows nothing about any of our human divisions anyway. He knows the woods. He knows where he belongs. He knows when to disappear and apparently when to come home.

This morning there are what look like tiny fairies dancing around my pear tree, Merlin is doing whatever mysterious Merlin business needs doing, and I’m about to start an actual physical workday.

It’s 8 a.m. Time to get moving.

A little magic first never hurt anybody. šŸ–¤šŸˆā€ā¬›āœØ

šŸ‚ NEW FALL LAKE RETREAT | October 9–12, 2026 šŸ‚

I’m opening our next retreat adventure, and this one is intentionally spacious.

We need 11 guests to make this beautiful lake home work at the accessible price of $288 per person.

This will be a coed retreat, with space for up to three couples who would like to share a private room together. There will also be shared room space, primarily for women, because that is usually who fills my retreats. If single men are interested, reach out and we’ll see what’s possible based on how the rooms fill.

This retreat is not packed wall-to-wall with programming. It’s lake life, rest, adventure, community, sauna, hot tub, fire, coffee, breakfast, spontaneous healing, and whatever the moment calls for.

We’ll be near Detroit Lakes, Tamarack, Lake Itasca, and the Troll sculptures, so there will be plenty to explore.

Private healing sessions and readings with me will also be available separately.

Bring your drum, yoga mat, crystals, journal, swimsuit, cozy clothes, and whatever helps you feel at home.

šŸ‚ October 9–12, 2026
šŸ‚ Rochert, Minnesota
šŸ‚ $288 per person

We must fill all 11 guest spaces for the retreat to remain at this price.

Message me if you want in. šŸ‚

This morning I was cleaning out my car.

Not because I suddenly became motivated to clean it, but because I’m leaving for Florida at 6am, and Arkansas was still riding around with me. The retreat bags were still there. Papers. Books. The things that get moved from one side of the cargo area to the other every time you think, I’ll deal with that later.

Later finally arrived.

I’m in the middle of finishing the last pieces of three books before I leave. There are marketing materials to finish, clients to see, laundry to do, and a suitcase that still isn’t packed. Cleaning out the car was simply another thing that needed to be crossed off the list.

Instead, I found myself sitting on the driveway with a box of my mom’s greeting cards.

Some of you will remember these.

I shared them a while back when I first talked about an idea that’s been quietly living in the background called Nana’s Pen Pals. At the time, I remember thinking there was something beautiful about the fact that my mom had saved so many cards. She didn’t just buy a card because somebody had a birthday coming up. She found cards because they reminded her of people she loved.

This morning I opened the box again.

I don’t know why I reached for this one first, but I did.

I read it all the way through.

Then I read it again.

ā€ā€¦encouraging their growth, cheering their flight, all the while watching pieces of yourself fly awayā€¦ā€

By then I already had tears in my eyes.

Then I reached the last lines.

ā€ā€¦and when it’s over, your job turns to you… offering all that you’ve learned to yourself. It will be time to mother you.ā€

I just sat there.

Mom died after I became an empty nester. I’m the only daughter who became a mother. Whether she bought this card with me in mind or whether life simply placed it back into my hands when I was finally ready to hear it, I honestly don’t know.

What I do know is that I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Then my thoughts wandered to Florida.

To LEILA.

To Luca.

To the conversations I’ve already been having with our cooperative community about Nana’s Pen Pals.

That idea has been sitting quietly for a while. I’ve talked about how I’d love to see children writing real letters again. I’ve talked about where I think it could someday go—a podcast, an app, a way to build more kindness and connection in the world—but somehow I’d skipped over the most obvious place to begin.

My own grandchildren.

I’ll have them for two weeks.

Why wouldn’t they become the very first Nana’s Pen Pals?

So that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

For five days we’ll sit down together and create one piece of mail each day.

Some days there may be words.

Some days there may only be drawings.

Maybe stickers.

Maybe pressed flowers.

Maybe nothing more than a picture of whatever captured their attention that morning.

It doesn’t matter.

The letter doesn’t have to be perfect.

It just has to carry a little piece of the child who made it.

Looking back now, I don’t think it’s an accident that this idea came back to life while I was holding one of my mom’s cards.

She spent her life reaching out to people.

Maybe this is one small way to keep that reaching going.

Sometimes we inherit recipes.

Sometimes we inherit jewelry.

Sometimes we inherit a way of loving people.

This morning, while I was supposed to be cleaning out my car, I think I remembered one of the things my mom was trying to teach me all along.

And next week, with LEILA and Luca sitting around the table beside me, we’re finally going to begin.

GIVE THIS AN HONEST READ…QUANTUM ENTANGLEMENT IS REALITY! Are you living the new science??🧬

We are not choosing between the quantum and the mystical, the physical and the spirit. We were never asked to choose. Before anyone measured us into a fixed position, we existed the way particles exist — spread across possibility, undecided, whole. Then something looked at us, and looking made us real in one particular way, and we have spent most of our lives mistaking that one particular way for the entire truth of what we are.

The planets don't cause anything in us. They don't need to. What Barbault spent a lifetime tracking wasn't force acting on us from outside — it was pattern, the same pattern showing up at the scale of empires and at the scale of a single body waking up on a Tuesday knowing something has shifted. Entangled particles don't touch and they still know each other across any distance you put between them. That's not poetry borrowed from physics to decorate a feeling. That's physics, confirmed, sitting there refusing to explain itself the way materialism wants it to. The universe kept a door open. Most people just stopped checking whether it was still open.

To recognize this isn't information. Information changes what you know. This changes what you're standing in.

A human who steps into that awareness stops asking to be convinced and starts asking to be responsible. Because if you are an expression of the whole and not separate from it, then your peace was never actually private property. It was always shared infrastructure. And if that's true, silence isn't neutral anymore. Silence is a vote cast for whatever is already loudest.

This is the cost nobody prices honestly. Not sacrifice for its own sake. The specific, unglamorous cost of staying awake in a system built to keep you comfortable and unconscious in exchange for your compliance. Waking up doesn't feel like enlightenment on the way in. It feels like grief for the version of peace you thought you had, the one that only worked because you weren't looking too closely at what it required other people to carry.

The pendulum needs two poles and an old grievance to keep swinging. The spiral needs a center that holds while everything else keeps moving. That center isn't found. It's built, one refusal to go back to sleep at a time, by people who felt the storm and stayed standing anyway — not because the storm stopped, but because they stopped mistaking the storm for the whole of who they are.

We are the quantum field and the astrology and the grief and the deer growing new antlers under a moon that hasn't even crested yet. We are all of it, running through one body, asking the only question that has ever mattered: now that you know, what will you do with what you see?

Walk as. Don't wait for. Today is zero day. What are you going to do with what you see? šŸ–¤šŸŒ™āœØ

07/21/2026

The last seven months have not been easy on my family or on me.

I’ve had difficult conversations with people I love about my behavior, my intensity, and the sheer volume of what I’ve written. Some of those conversations have hurt. Some of them probably needed to happen.

I also need people to understand where I was.

In January and February, I experienced the closest thing I have ever had to a mental health crisis. It wasn’t because I thought I was losing touch with reality. It was because I was terrified for the future my children and grandchildren might inherit. Whether they experienced that same fear isn’t the point. That fear was real in my body. It was what I woke up with, what I carried all day, and what I went to bed with every night.

So I wrote.

I wrote an obscene amount. Essays. Posts. Reposts. Research. Conversations. My account filled with it because I was trying to make sense of what I believed I was watching happen around me.

Operation Metro Surge became one of those focal points. It frightened me then, and it still does. The intensity isn’t the same today, but I understand it now in a way I couldn’t then. For the last five months I’ve been assembling those writings into books, and tomorrow I release the third one.

Tomorrow is also my son’s birthday. It’s also the Feast of Mary Magdalene. In my own spiritual framework, those things matter. They come together in a way that feels meaningful to me.

I believe abundance is my children’s birthright.

I believe it is your children’s birthright too.

Maybe today abundance feels secure. Maybe today democracy feels stable. Maybe today your family isn’t worried. But when I look toward the future, I ask different questions. What kind of country are we leaving behind? What values are we teaching by our silence? What are we willing to normalize because confronting it is uncomfortable?

As frustrating as it has been for some of my family to watch me write about politics, I don’t believe I have been writing about politics at all.

I have been writing about r**e culture.

I have been writing about the way societies throughout history have minimized sexual violence, protected powerful people, and expected victims to carry the burden instead of those who harmed them. I have been writing about the ways our own silence can become part of those systems.

That is why I have been so outspoken about Donald Trump. A jury found him liable for sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll, and he was separately convicted on 34 felony counts in New York. Those facts matter deeply to me. They shape how I think about character, accountability, and leadership.

You may weigh those facts differently than I do. I can’t.

If you have survived sexual violence, I hope you’ve asked yourself what accountability should look like. If you haven’t, I hope you’ve still asked yourself what kind of example we set when we decide that some harms matter less than others.

I know some people would rather keep the peace.

That has never been my blueprint.

My blueprint has always been to speak when something feels fundamentally wrong.

What hurts isn’t that people disagree with me.

What hurts is when people reduce my work to politics and overlook what has always been underneath it.

This has never been about winning an argument.

It has been about asking whether we are willing to build a future where sexual violence is never minimized, never excused, and never treated as the cost of power.

If speaking for that future costs me comfort, popularity, or approval, I can live with that.

What I cannot live with is silence.

šŸŒŽ Abundance Ritual | July 4 – July 22 ✨

This year, I’m doing something different.

Beginning on July 4 and continuing every day through July 22, I’ll be intentionally activating my crystal grid with one prayer:

May abundance belong to everyone.

Not abundance for a few.
Not abundance at someone else’s expense.
Abundance that allows every human being the opportunity to pursue their dreams, to create, to heal, to love, and to live with dignity.

Every day I’ll hold my crystals, breathe, and send that intention into the collective. I believe our thoughts, our prayers, our actions, and our love matter. If enough of us hold the same vision, we begin changing the story we tell ourselves about what is possible.

You don’t need crystals to join me. Light a candle. Sit quietly for five minutes. Hold a favorite stone. Walk in nature. Say a prayer in your own tradition. Send love. However you connect to something greater than yourself, you are welcome.

With everything happening in our world, my heart keeps returning to one simple truth: fear creates more fear, but love creates possibility.

If you’re able, I’d also encourage everyone to keep this Fourth of July close to home. Be present with the people you love. Breathe. Rest. Hold the vision for a world where abundance is shared and no one has to stay small so someone else can be big.

Let’s spend these 19 days intentionally choosing a different future.

šŸ’™ Abundance belongs to all of us.

Sometimes people look at what I share and assume it’s political.

What I’m actually talking about is something much deeper.

I’m talking about safety.

I’m talking about belonging.

I’m talking about our relationships.

I’m talking about the choices we make every day and the culture we create together.

Our politics are not separate from our lives. They aren’t separate from our families, our communities, or the children who are growing up watching us.

And when I say children, I mean all children—young girls and young boys, young women and young men.

This isn’t about telling you what to think.

It’s an invitation to become curious about what you believe, why you believe it, and how we can create communities where people feel seen, heard, and safe enough to have honest conversations.

I’d love to hear what resonated with you after watching this video. šŸ’™

What an incredible Arkansas adventure! šŸ’Ž

From digging for quartz at Wegner Crystal Mines, to soaking in the beauty of Lake Ouachita (I was so busy taking it all in that I completely forgot to take pictures! šŸ˜‚), every stop reminded us why we love these retreats.

We found beautiful crystals, shared unforgettable moments, explored the Ouachita Mountains, and came home with full buckets, full hearts, and stories we’ll be telling for years.

This little promo is just a glimpse of the magic. Thank you to everyone who joined me on this adventure. I can’t wait to see where we go next!

✨ Sometimes the best souvenirs aren’t the crystals—they’re the memories.

A quick snapshot of the physical results of this healing journey.

No diet. No punishment. No obsession with the scale.

Just a gradual shift in how I listen to my body, how I move energy through my body, and how I show up in the world.

I stopped trying to force myself into someone else’s program and started following my own blueprint.

I learned to trust the signals my body was giving me.

The result?

100 pounds released.

More importantly, I can do things with my balance, mobility, strength, and body awareness today that I couldn’t do at 30.

This was never about becoming smaller.

It was about becoming more aligned.

Following my own programming.

Listening to my own body.

Trusting the wisdom that was there all along.

The number on the scale is interesting.

The freedom I feel in my body is the real transformation.

Take a look.
