In anticipation of temperatures exceeding 100 degrees, we, alongside our partners at Cosumnes Community Services District, will open a cooling center on Saturday, August 1. The center will operate from Noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at the Wackford Community Complex (9014 Bruceville Road). Operating dates may be extended if similar conditions persist.

Organizers are initiating the opening of the cooling center in response to excessive heat forecasted by the National Weather Service Sacramento. The Cooling Center is open to anyone who lacks shelter or adequate home cooling. A limited number of animal kennels will be available to house pets.

Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
Saturday-Sunday: Closed

Rental times will remain the same:
Monday-Sunday, 7:00am-Midnight.
