I love this so much!
Nashville International Airport will officially be named Dolly Parton International Airport.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee announced the plan three days after the country music legend died at age 80.
“Dolly Parton’s extraordinary life is forever woven into the fabric of our state,” Lee said. “At a place where Tennessee welcomes the world, it is fitting that Nashville International Airport would bear the name of our state’s favorite daughter.”
Renaming an airport after Dolly feels appropriate. She spent her life helping people find a better destination.
